The Basic Meaning of Hot Stamping Decoration

Hot stamping-also known as foil stamping or metallic foil stamping-is a decorative printing process.

Its underlying principle involves utilizing heat-pressure transfer to transfer the aluminum layer from a metallic foil onto the surface of a substrate, thereby creating a distinctive metallic effect.

Because it primarily employs metallic foil materials, the process is also referred to as metallic foil stamping. The basic procedural steps involve heating a metal printing plate, applying the foil, and embossing.

Hot stamping is a specialized printing technique that does not utilize ink.
